As winter is very much with us, now might be a good time to reflect on the earlier part of the season. In those glorious days of sunshine and solid pitches, you might remember we had a funday? A funday which far exceeded our little clubs expectations. On Sunday the 18th of September we were joined by Munster players Cian Hurley and Eoin O’Connor with youth development officer Ray Gadsen for a fun filled day of rugby activities and the odd soaking sponge for our coaches. As you can see from the pics below we had a busy, as a great man once said “I’m no good at judging the size of crowds Ted, but I’d say there’s about seventeen million of them out there”
Our sincere thanks go to Kerry County Council’s Communities Activities fund for their assistance in purchasing much of the equipment and entertaiinment without which the day would not have been possible.
